Time Flies

Wow, time flies when you are having fun. Taryn and Cameron arrived home last Friday. They were so glad to be out of school for a few days. I still had Monday and Tuesday to go. We kind of celebrated their birthdays for the next few days. Their birthdays are really on November 24. Happy birthday Taryn and Cameron. Saturday Taryn and I went to a baby shower for Amanda and Jackson. He sure is cute. Kwinnae also had her baby and he is so cute too. What is with all the boys lately? Cameron had to go back and work Sunday and Monday. Taryn stayed here with us. It was fun to have her at church. All her elderly friends were so excited to see her. Monday Taryn, Chris, Kaison, Skyler, Pepi, and I all went to HighSchool Musical. It was cheesy, but I did enjoy the dancing and music. Wednesday Taryn and I cooked and cooked. She sure can make a mean pie crust. It is soooooo flakey it just melts in your mouth. Mom arrived Wed. afternoon with the turkey and stuffing. We had a great Thanksgiving with just the five of us. John as already gone to California. Happy Thanksgiving to him. We missed him. On Friday and Saturday of course we hit the craft fairs. It was fun. Mom headed back home and now so have Taryn and Cameron. It seems that everything is over so quickly. Everyone have a great week. All you college students study hard for your finals and good luck. We are proud of you. All you others keep on truckin. love you all.

My word the week goes by fast, especially Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Ha. Ha. Tuesday I left school right with my students and headed over to Logan. Mom and I went to see the African's Children Choir. It was thrilling for me. I am still in awe over these young children. They were so beautiful and so full of the music of life. Thank you Mom for taking me. Wednesday I had library board meeting. Check my blog next week because I will try to have some pictures from our family night at the library. This will be Monday night. The theme is pirates. Gregg and I went to the movies on Thursday night, Fly Boys, it was great. I spent Saturday working on some crafty things. I made a shirt for pirate night and I also made some little Christmas trees to put out at the cemetary. I also painted a little sleigh to hold my Christmas CD's. It didn't turn out so well. I hurried too fast. Well, let's see. School was very busy this week. Tuesday was Veteran's Day. We had an awesome program. Wednesday was picture day. That is a confusing riot. Thursday we had a motivational speaker. It was OK. I hope next week goes by just as fast. Everyone have a great week and do your best at whatever you are doing. Have fun too.
"We are the African children's Choir. We are all between seven and eleven years old and we come from Africa. We come from very poor villages and many of us are orphans. Our families find it hard to care for us. Children in our villages often do not learn to read or write because their families cannot afford to send them to school. But thanks to your love and generosity, and the work of the African Children's Choir our lives will be different! After our tour we will go home to learn, grow, and make it better there. "

These are my Christmas trees. I am going out to the cemetaries today.

My pirate shirt. It was fun to do. I also have a hat with hair on it. I'll post more next week about this event.

It's been a long week. I didn't feel very well and didn't go to school on Monday. On Tuesday I was back in body only. It seemed like the week dragged on and on. Oh well. This is quite a flu bug. I still feel like I have a bad cold. Enough! Thursday Mom and John dropped by the school for a few minutes. John is heading south pretty soon. It was nice seeing them. Thursday Gregg hauled out the Christmas stuff for me and I spent Thursday evening and Friday decking my halls. I love Christmas.

Twas the night after Halloween
November begins
If we hadn't had the flu
Then the tree would've been in

However, it took just
one extra week
The tree is now up
and the presents it seeks.

I just love Christmas.
Don't you love it too?
Have a Happy Thanksgiving
and Christmas all you.

The end of October

It seemed like we celebrated Halloween all week at school. The students dressed up everyday for Red Ribbon Week. I was exhausted. Oh Well. Taryn and Cameron came home for the weekend. It was fun to see them. Gregg and I are both sick with the flu. Don't get it. It's nasty. I don't even have any pictures. I guess I'm slacking. Everyone have a good week.

Nice Fall Weather and Let's Keep it that Way!

It's been a normal week at school if there ever is such a thing as a normal week at school. Friday Gregg and I worked hard in the yard--rhymes-- and got all the gardens taken care of and some of the leaves. We are about ready for winter or not. Cameron and Taryn came home Friday evening. Cameron went to the football game and Taryn went with Gregg and I to the Canyon Inn to eat. I had to have my fix of cheese enchilada. They were wonderful. On Saturday Cameron went hunting with the guys. Taryn and I went over to Preston to meet Mom. She had some apple juice for everyone. We met and ate at the Taco Bus of all places. Actually the food was good. It was an adventure. Saturday night we went to the movie, The City of Ember. The book was so much better. Oh well. Everyone have a great week.

Another Week in October

It's been a busy week. It seems like they go by so fast. I had parent teacher conference Wednesday night. That made a marathon day. It seemed like everyone was tired all week, students and teachers alike. On Saturday Gregg and I went to Pocatello to watch the homecoming festivities. It was fun. We watched the parade, ate at Wingers, shopped at the mall, and came home with some of Cameron's yummy jerky. It was a fun day and the weather also cooperated. Taryn played a major part in creating the float for the dental hygiene department. She and her committee did a great job. It was a great entry. I also want to wish John a happy birthday on Oct. 15, and Cydney on Oct. 19. Everyone have a good week. I wish you happiness and success with everything you must accomplish this week.

Can You Believe It????

What a week. First, I am on bus duty before and after school. The before school is not bad, but the after school goes on forever. I'm also on breakfast duty. Then we had to go to school all week, yes, even Friday--teacher inservice. I know, whine not.
Tuesday night was fun, however, as we went to Logan and took John out for dinner to celebrate his birthday. It was fun to spend time with Mom and John. We went to Blackstones. I forgot my camera, so no pictures of this. Also, happy birthday to my little brother Brett and also to Skyler. Hope they both had happy days.
Taryn and Cameron came home on Friday so Cameron could go hunting. He got his deer during the great October blizzard. Which brings me to the weather. I like winter ok, but a blizzard in October. I don't know about that. Everyone have a great week. Take care of yourselves, study or work hard, and also have a little fun. I have duty again this week. Help!
Looking out the kitchen window. At least the flowers inside are ok.

Looking down the road toward Aunt Gwenn's house.

Mokee is very confused. It shouldn't be winter yet.

Looking out the back window.

Phillip. Are you crazy? Nope, just saving the cows.

Walking in a winter wonderland. Not!

Back to school. See you Saturday at homecoming ISU.
